about Our trainers

Every one of us, as human beings, has encountered anxiety at some point in our lives.

Even our professional public speaking mentors are no exception to this universal experience. They’ve all faced audiences and grappled with those paralyzing nerves that often cause us to falter. However, through the transformative techniques of Believe In Greatness, they’ve not only conquered their fears but have also committed themselves to assisting others in doing the same.

Our team comprises individuals with diverse backgrounds, ranging from professional Athletes and Project Managers to seasoned mindfulness practitioners and psychology enthusiasts. Each of our public speaking mentors brings their unique expertise, skills, and life experiences to craft a truly distinctive and comprehensive approach.

Gordon Williams

Gordon grappled with social anxiety and confidence issues from an early age, which had a significant impact on both his social life and career prospects. He found himself unable to give presentations or speak confidently in meetings, often allowing others to receive credit while he remained comfortably in the background.

However, everything took a turn in 2019 when he became unemployed due to the pandemic, forcing him to confront the fears he had long avoided.

After participating in confidence and public speaking classes, Gordon made a conscious decision to continually seek opportunities to step outside of his comfort zone, a step he had hesitated to take for a long time. With persistence and time, he improved his abilities, ultimately landing a position at one of the world’s largest investment banks. This transformation also allowed him to reconnect with Frederick and launch Believe In Greatness, a venture they had put off for a long time. They found themselves on the right path.

Recognizing the immense power of authenticity and after conducting extensive research into human psychology, they built a community and course that had a significant impact. This platform enabled individuals to begin believing in themselves and their own potential. Gordon leverages his fascination with human psychology and habit formation to assist students in discovering their voices and purposes.

Luke Walters

Luke is an accomplished account manager and dedicated trainer at Believe In Greatness. His academic background in History laid the foundation for his journey into becoming a qualified public speaking coach. Although Luke has always possessed natural confidence as a speaker and relished addressing large audiences, a challenging experience with public speaking left an indelible mark on him. This setback led him to retreat from speaking opportunities and even caused him to withdraw from social interactions, isolating himself.

During this phase, Luke missed numerous valuable opportunities that he knew he was fully capable of seizing. However, his determination to conquer his fear and invest in personal growth prevailed. Luke’s transformation began when he undertook the comprehensive public speaking course at Believe In Greatness, an experience that profoundly changed his life.

His personal journey from fear to triumph inspired him to return to the organisation as a trainer. With his firsthand understanding of the course’s challenges and his remarkable ability to overcome his own fears, Luke is passionately committed to helping others discover their greatness.
